Pairception

A minimalist and relaxing puzzle game where your goal is to clear the board by connecting matching numbers.

The rules are simple, but mastering the game requires attention, logic, and strategic thinking.

All progress is saved locally on your device.

Gameplay

The game field is a vertically scrollable grid with 9 columns. Each cell contains a number from 1 to 9, or is empty.

Your goal is to remove all numbers from the board by selecting valid pairs.

  • Tap one number, then another to connect the pair
  • If the pair is valid, both numbers disappear

A pair can be removed if:

  • The numbers are equal, OR
  • Their sum equals 10

And:

  • They are aligned horizontally, vertically, or diagonally
  • Pairs can also connect across row boundaries when they remain in a continuous valid line
  • There are no active numbers blocking the path between them

Mechanics

Adding numbers

Use the “Add” button to extend the board:

  • It copies all currently active numbers and appends them to the grid in the same order
  • Can be used up to 5 times per game

Hints

Stuck and can’t find a move? Use a Hint.

  • Highlights a valid pair of numbers on the board
  • Does not perform the move automatically — only shows a valid pair

Additional hints can be purchased using shells.

Row clearing

  • When a full row becomes inactive, it disappears
  • Remaining rows shift automatically

Tips and Tricks

  • Look for long-distance connections — they give more points
  • Plan ahead before using “Add”
  • Clearing rows creates space and opportunities
  • Use hints only when truly stuck

Information Collection and Use

Pairception does not require account registration and does not directly collect personal information. Game progress and settings are stored locally on your device. Pairception uses Google AdMob (Google AdMob) to serve ads. Google may collect device and usage data through AdMob in accordance with its privacy policy.
