Pairception is a number-pair puzzle about finding clean connections.
Tap one number, then another. If the pair is valid, both numbers disappear from the board.
A pair can be removed when:
- the numbers are equal
- or their sum equals 10
The connection can run horizontally, vertically, diagonally, or across row boundaries when the path is clear.
The rules are simple enough to learn quickly. The board becomes more interesting when you start planning which pairs to remove now and which spaces to open for later.

The daily puzzle is a focused board with no hints and no adds. Some days are quick. Some take a few attempts. That small uncertainty is part of the rhythm: open the board, look for the right pairs, and see whether today is the day you clear it.

Small Details That Help
Pairception is designed for short sessions, but it gives you a few tools when the board gets tight.
Adding Numbers
Use the Add button to extend the board.
It copies all currently active numbers and appends them to the grid in the same order. You can use Add up to 5 times per game.
Hints
When you are stuck, a hint can show one valid pair.
It does not play the move for you. It only points to a pair you can choose to remove.
Each game starts with 3 hints. If you need more, you can get 3 additional hints for 5 shells.
Row Clearing
When a full row becomes inactive, it disappears.
The remaining rows shift automatically, opening new connections and making the board easier to read.
