How Fibonacci Merges Work

Fibonacci Hex Merge is a Fibonacci merge puzzle built around a familiar number sequence.

Place numbers on the hex board. When neighboring numbers follow the Fibonacci sequence, they merge into the next number:

  • 1 + 2 = 3
  • 2 + 3 = 5
  • 3 + 5 = 8
  • 5 + 8 = 13

Each merge gives you points and opens space on the board. Longer chains can turn one careful placement into a stronger score.
